Earthquake of Magnitude 5.1 Occurred in Romania

The earthquake occurred On 3 Nov in northern Buzau County, Romania, at around 06:50.

The epicenter of the earthquake was about 4 miles(7Km) northeast of Gura Teghii. 

The tremor occurred at a depth of about 92 miles (142Km).

Significant damage is unlikely. There are no initial reports of damage or casualties yet as a result of the earthquake.

It could take several hours until authorities can conduct damage assessments.

There are also possibility of Aftershocks over the coming days. 

Officials may temporarily shut down transportation in the tremor zone, but service will likely resume quickly if no damage is found.
